| DAY 1 Arrive Srinagar Arrive Srinagar airport, assistance on arrival & proceed to houseboat check-in. Srinagar is also known as “paradise on earth” & “The Venice of Asia”. Afternoon leave for sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Cheshmashahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Ple asure), Shalimar (The Adobe of Love) & famous Shankaryacharya temple. Evening 1 hrs Sikara Ride on Dal Lake, after back to Houseboat, Dinner & overnight at houseboat. DAY 2 Srinagar – Sonamarg- Srinagar (85 kms one way) After breakfast leave houseboat / hotel & proceed for full day excursion tour of Sonamarg. (9600 fts a.s.l) “The Golden Meadow” Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland. Surrounded by mountains upto 5300 meters high the valley is divided by spur of the “Thajwas Range”. Return back to Srinagar for Dinner & overnight in hotel/houseboat. . DAY 3 Srinagar- Gulmarg -Srinagar (58 kms one way) After breakfast leave houseboat proceed for full day excursion tour of Gulmarg (8700 fts a, s,l) “Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg has a famous golf course during summer (which is one of the highest 18-hole golf course in the world) & ski Resort during winter. Return back to Srinagar for dinner & overnight in houseboat. DAY 4 Srinagar-Pahalgam-Srinagar (96 kms one way) After breakfast leave houseboat & proceed for full day excursion tour Pahalgam (7200 fts a.s.l) “Village of Shepherds” enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields. Awatipora ruins (9th Century) & Mart and Temple (Sun temple). Pahalgam is famous for Indian film Industry, some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Return back to Srinagar for dinner & overnight inhouseboat.. . DAY 5 Srinagar Departure After breakfast leave for shikara ride on the lake return back to houseboat to check-out & proceed to Srinagar Airport to board the flight for onwards destination. |
